Do I need to use my card when I go to the pharmacy?
Yes, you will need to have your member ID card.
Will I get a new member ID card every year that I’m a member?
No. You will receive a member ID card when you first enroll in a Blue MedicareRx plan and you will use that card as long as you have coverage for that plan type. If you decide to change your plan type (for example, switch from the Value plan to the Enhanced plan), you will receive a new member ID card.
What should I do if I think my member ID card has been stolen or is being misused by someone else?
You should contact our customer service team. You may also want to report this to Medicare. It’s important to report these suspicions as soon as possible because a stolen or misused member ID could be a sign of Medicare fraud or abuse.
